One last trip down memory lane (not that I remember any of these)

Here's the last old-timey shot for a while; thanks for indulging me. My parents were married in September of 1962, and Mom hated this wedding picture. I guess it was too goofy for her, but I love it. She was 31 and Dad was 37, pretty old for first-time newlyweds back then. Dad always claimed he had no memories of their wedding day and therefore doubted they were legally wed, despite the photographic evidence to the contrary.

I can see why your mom hated it. I absolutely love it. I have one from my marriage to my first husband where it looks like I am sucking on his arm. LOL...
I enjoyed your old-timey pictures. I love pictures!

She may have thought it was goofy, but I think it is great. September of '62 was the same month and year my parents were married. Thanks for sharing these pictures with us! I have totally enjoyed them!

I love this pic! My mom is the same with her pix. Anything that looks slightly silly seems to bug her. I, on the other hand, love those pix because they often capture those silly little looks that are so familiar to us.

My mom wore a pillbox hat/veil just like your mom's. So cool!
