Oh my god. Neighborly Sweet Potato Muffins, Chipotle Cornbread, Howlin' Hush Puppies, Double-Corn Cottage Pancakes, and Blue, Blue Blueberry Corn Muffins. This week is Noir Week at our house and I'm trying to match my dinner menus to whatever movie is airing that evening... but I think I'm going to have to force one of these cornbread recipes into the schedule.

Book of the week

Crescent Dragonwagon is great! My favorite soup recipe in the world is in her "Soup and Bread" cookbook - New World Corn Chowder, I think it's called. Delish! I'll have to look into her "Cornbread Gospels".
