Summing up

I just finished reading an interesting book called Snoop: What Your Stuff Says About You by Sam Gosling. One of the things he discusses is how people's books say a great deal about their openness. "People high on openness tend to be creative, imaginative, abstract, curious, deep thinkers, inventive, and value arts and aesthetic experiences," writes Gosling, an associate professor of psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. "People low on openness tend to be conventional, concrete, traditional, preferring the known to the unknown."

Here are eleven of my books. (Eleven is my favorite number.) Individually, they're all over the map. Collectively, I think they say a great deal about my personality and interests -- whether or not they reveal my openness is another matter.

If you had to describe yourself in a dozen books or so, which ones would you pick?
